Fred Brechbuhler founded the Brechbuhler Scales company in Canton, Ohio in 1929. The Brechbuhler family still owns, operates and remains actively involved in the company. Brechbuhler Scales has grown over the years, and it now has 17 branch locations throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, and Michigan. The company's corporate headquarters remains in Canton, OH.
